To the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — August 2026

To the Right Honourable the Prime Minister,

I address you publicly and directly today, on behalf of the fundamental democratic principles upon which this nation was founded: you hold no mandate to govern this country.

A legitimate mandate is not conferred by residence at Downing Street, by appointment, or by the agreement of a small circle. It is granted solely and exclusively by the British people — freely, openly, and recently — at a General Election. That mandate you do not have. You were not elected to this office by the public, nor have you put your leadership and your programme before the nation to seek their consent. You have no moral authority, no democratic legitimacy, and no right to impose your will upon this country without the people’s clear say-so.

I call upon you to summon a General Election — NOW.

The people are ready. They have waited long enough. They have endured decisions made in their name, without their voice, and without their consent. Give the people what they want. Give them the right to choose their government, their direction, and their future. Power in this land belongs to the people — not to you, not to your office, and not to your party.

And let this be heard clearly across the country: It is not all about you, Andy.

This is not about your career, your convenience, your timetable, or your personal standing. This is about democracy. This is about trust. This is about honouring the basic bargain between a government and those it governs: that you serve at their pleasure, and not the reverse. If you respect this nation, its people, and its traditions — you will step forward, call the election, and stand before the people to seek their mandate. Or step aside.

The choice is yours. But the power belongs to the people. Call the election. Let the people decide.
