Reverend Alfie Stokes Joins the OCAC and the Parish of Swindon under the care of The Rt Revd Dr Father Mark Paris-Haines

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is with great joy and heartfelt thanksgiving that we extend a warm and prayerful welcome to the Reverend Alfie Stokes, who joins us here in the Parish of Swindon. This is a moment of grace and renewal in the life of our parish, and we are truly blessed to receive him into our community of faith.

Revd Alfie Stokes comes to us with a sincere vocation, a spirit of pastoral care, and a deep commitment to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask you all to join in offering him your support, fellowship, and prayers as he begins his ministry among us. May his presence enrich our worship, strengthen our unity, and inspire us all to grow more deeply in faith and service.

We are also pleased to inform the parish that Revd Alfie Stokes holds a valid licence granted under the authority of The Rt Revd Dr Father Mark Paris-Haines. This licence affirms and authorises his ministry within the Church, and we recognise it with gratitude and confidence.

As we welcome Revd Alfie into our parish family, let us remember our shared calling to be a living witness to Christ’s love. May we work together in harmony, guided by the Holy Spirit, to build up the Church and serve our wider community.
