⚽️ A fantastic afternoon of fundraising football this afternoon at the Gerard Buxton ground. Plenty of minutes for some younger players and a comfortable win.

But ultimately, the score line wasn’t of any importance and GWFC, with the support of our generous match sponsor TWC Home Improvements raised £565 for our VIP guest, 10-year-old Rute Fernandes, who suffers from Alopecia areata. We also gave her a new football that was signed by everyone involved in today’s match.

It was a privilege to meet Rute and her family. We are a football club that aspires to be a community asset that brings people together to enjoy the sport we all love.
