Miss Alanah – LGBTQ+ Supporter & Advice (Non-Religious)

Part of the Old Catholic Apostolic Church Swindon

ree

Miss Alanah offers one of the UK’s most trusted and explicitly non-religious LGBTQ+ support services, operating under the umbrella of the Old Catholic Apostolic Church Swindon while deliberately keeping all advice, counselling, and community spaces 100 % secular and free from any religious content, doctrine, or spiritual language.

This unique arrangement exists because the Old Catholic Apostolic Church Swindon is a fully inclusive, progressive, and independent Catholic jurisdiction that believes faith should never be used to harm or exclude LGBTQ+ people.

The church provides the legal, charitable, and safeguarding framework for Miss Alanah’s work, but every single interaction with the public remains completely non-religious unless an individual specifically asks for a faith-based perspective (which is rare).

Services Provided (All Strictly Non-Religious in Delivery)

  1. Private 1-on-1 Support

    • Confidential text, voice-note, or video sessions for coming out, transition, family rejection, relationships, mental health crises, housing, workplace discrimination, and more.

    • 24/7 emergency response for suicide prevention and immediate safety concerns.

  2. Daily Messaging & Community Support

    • Fast, compassionate replies to DMs.

  3. Free Secular Safe Space

    • Online and occasional in-person meet-ups (Swindon and surrounding areas) where being LGBTQ+ is celebrated without any religious element.

  4. Live Q&A and Crisis Support

    • Regular non-religious live streams where Miss Alanah and her team offer real-time advice and comfort to thousands of viewers.

Although the service is hosted and safeguarded by a church that is proudly LGBTQ+-affirming and welcoming to all, Miss Alanah’s public-facing support is deliberately and unapologetically secular.

This means queer people from conservative religious backgrounds, ex-religious people healing from trauma, and anyone who simply prefers non-religious help can reach out without ever encountering prayer, scripture, or spiritual advice unless they explicitly request it.

You do not need to be religious, spiritual, or even open to faith to access any part of the service – the door is wide open exactly as you are.
